Asif Satchu previously co-Founded SMKT. Asif Satchu was also the Chairman of SMKT. SMKT was a supply chain management company, backed by investment firms KKR, Sequoia Capital, Madison Dearborn, Fenway Partners, Battery Ventures, Fleet Equity Partners, Hicks Muse and Onex Capital. Asif Satchu sold SMKT for $1.0 billion.
Asif Satchu began his career at Morgan Stanley & Co. He was an investment professional at hedge fund Tiger Management Company and private equity fun Westbrook Partners (a $700 million private equity fund.
Asif Satchu is a patron to the HBS Business Plan Competition and a member of the board for the Arthur Roc Center Entrepreneurship.
